Our Great Adventure

I know that many people have been asking for pictures and and I found a neat way to upload all my pictures from my phone to a blog it wouldn't let me upload to my last blog so sadly I had to make a new blog.  The plus to this is that I can upload all the videos and pictures of Dakota growing up and all our adventures that we will have because for some reason I take more pictures with my phone then with my real camera.  So if you want make this your blog that you follow instead our old one and I will really try hard to keep this updated!  I uploaded the pictures backwards so bare with me the pictures on top are the most recent.

First  of all we are now residents of Minnesota which I NEVER thought would happen but everything pointed us here and so many answers to our prayers were made so that we knew that this is where our family is supposed to be right now.  I'm sure people think we are crazy but so do we haha.  We have loved it here so far and we are super excited for spring and summer because there is so much water and everything is supposed to be super green.  They call it "God's Country" Right now everything is iced over and covered in snow so it is hard to see everything.  We are super excited for visitors and would love anyone to come visit we will have room for you and there is lots and lots of fun things to do here for anyone.  Shopping, kids activities and pro sports teams so everyone can have something to do.

This is Dakota after his mom and dad attempted to cut his hair since his hair person wouldn't move with us:)  It came out okay but I hate cutting hair and would much rather have someone else do the cutting.
Dad doing his part of the hair cut.  Dakota was so good he didn't even move.
See how good he is smiles and all
Mom attempting her portion of the hair cut
Here in Minnesota they cater to kids and make sure there is plenty of activities for them to do this is Dakota at the Library getting ready for story time.  He loves to read and gets excited to see all the books that he can read at the Library.
They have a city center where they have the kids come for open play M,W,F for three hours and it is a huge covered field that is heated where they have games, bounce houses and plenty of space to run.  Dakota loves it there and gets so excited to go down the slides all by himself.  I would help him get to the top of this huge slide and then he would say "self" so he could do it without his mommy.  He is getting big so fast.

Playing in the tubes hiding from mom
This is Dakota learning how to climb up one of the slides by himself.
Dakota's Hiding place where I can find him regularly during the day asking me to take his picture
Excited to go play at playgroup
This picture looks really bad but Dakota locked himself in the bathroom stall and I couldn't get it open he was not happy that I was on the other side of the stall so he decided the best thing to do would be to crawl on the floor... Gross!!
 So tired after playing
 Just waiting for daddy
Dakota driving his car while we go shopping. It was great to keep him occupied
 Ready for church
Our favorite NFL team ;) This is their training facility
In Minnesota instead of plowing the roads they plow the snow covered lakes so that people can get to their fishing holes for ice fishing
Daniel and Lilly checking out Lake Minnetonka
He fell asleep eating his yogurt heading to Minnesota
We had to stop to see Mt. Rushmore because Daniel and Dallas had never seen it before but it was so cold and getting late so we decided to just do a drive by.
Dakota was asleep so we just hurried and took a picture
On our way to Minnesota we got stopped by two different storms which made us stay two nights in hotels one in Wall, S. Dakota and one in Lusk, WY both places no one should ever get stuck in haha.

This is how many miles it will take you to go from Ogden, UT to Plymouth, MN with a couple detours.
This is seriously the coolest shopping place I have ever been to and I know we will go there often.
This video is of my sister Alicia entertaining Dakota on our drive to Minnesota.  She was the best co-pilot ever and I owe her big time.  Dakota was always happy and never even cried because she was always playing with him and helping him with whatever he needed while I drove.

I know that this is a lot of info but this last little while has been crazy and so busy we had literally 7 days from when they gave Daniel the job/offer letter to go to Minnesota find a home to live in then go home with 4 days to pack and be gone on the road to our new home in Plymouth Minnesota.  I'm so sorry for anyone that I missed seeing before we went I didn't have extra time and I wish I did but I am sure greatful to everyone in my life for the great support everyone has been.  I am sure lucky to have the family and friends I have in my life.  I love each one of them and they all have a special place in my life.  Thanks everyone and I hope you enjoy reading about our crazy adventure!
